Yahoo Finance provides delayed public quote snapshots. The time shown is the source’s market timestamp, not the time a reader opened the page. Prices use the source’s reported currency.
A quote is usable if its market date is at least the latest completed Canadian trading session under our calendar, which changes at the normal 4 p.m. Eastern close on trading days. This is a freshness check, not a guarantee that the quote is real time or an official closing price. Illiquid securities can have older last-trade timestamps.
Older, future-dated or unverified quotes do not supply the current price, daily change or volume tables. Missing values stay unavailable. Market capitalisation and shares outstanding are not estimated from stale directory labels.
Reported company financials
The financial register preserves each filing’s date, currency, source units and PDF page. Period-end cash and shares are separate from current quote data. Working capital is calculated as current assets less all current liabilities; issuer-specific adjustments are shown separately. No market value or cash runway is inferred. Coverage is a reviewed selection.
Completed financings
The financing register records completed issues only. Gross proceeds are the reported share count multiplied by the reported issue price, recomputed in whole cents; a record whose arithmetic does not match the issuer's reported proceeds is not published. Fees and expenses are not deducted, so gross proceeds are never net proceeds, and net proceeds appear only where a source states them.
Where an offering was priced in more than one currency, each tranche is shown in its own currency and the amounts are never added, because no source used here states an exchange rate. Share counts are additive. Authority to sell securities, such as an at-the-market program, is capacity and is not recorded as a completed raise. A completed financing is a dated historical event and is not current cash. Coverage is a reviewed selection; an absence is not evidence that no financing occurred.
Instruments and comparisons
Gold, silver and copper references are futures instruments, not spot assessments. URA, LIT and other funds are equity proxies with prices per share. Uranium spot stays unavailable until a verified assessment is connected.
Daily percentage change compares the source’s current quote with its reported previous close. Reported share volume is not dollar turnover. Do not compare a CAD price directly with a USD price.
News selection
We show source-linked mining, exploration, mineral-processing, issuer and metals-market headlines from a rolling 14-day window. Every headline must establish a mining or minerals connection. A publisher name, RSS category, exchange name or feed-supplied commodity label is not enough. General business, lifestyle, healthcare, cryptocurrency-mining and unrelated transport stories are outside this desk.
Known promotional formats and stock-pick lists are excluded. Ambiguous headlines are withheld rather than assigned to mining by default. Commodity labels come from the headline or an identified issuer, with general mining used when the commodity is unclear. The homepage prioritises sector reporting; source variety cannot bypass these checks. This is headline screening, not independent verification of an article’s claims or all third-party commercial arrangements. A missed feed or withheld headline does not mean that no relevant event occurred.
Company mentions are matched conservatively from headline names and tickers. This may miss relevant stories. Directory commodity labels may be broad or outdated; consult issuer disclosure for current activity.
Article disclosure review

The imported record count is checked against the government service before the snapshot is replaced; later source changes are not reflected until a new import. We do not infer current ownership, resources or assays from an occurrence label. Calculators show their formulas and do not replace geological interpretation.
