The correction log

Keep the record honest.

Material errors are corrected visibly. Historical pages keep their permanent URLs and publication notices.

September 10, 2026: unavailable ACG source link

The Northern Miner link headed “ACG buys project to boost copper output in Turkey” returned the publisher’s 404 page during our source review. We withheld that exact feed link pending review. The inaccessible article does not establish which project or transaction it describes. Our separate Keşkek brief follows ACG’s September 7 gold-licence announcement and does not substitute for the unavailable article.

September 10, 2026: advertiser-collaboration stories

Our homepage selected Stockhead stories about Unity’s O’Phlay targets and Ariana’s Dokwe feasibility work. Both source articles disclosed collaboration with the featured company as a Stockhead advertiser. Mining-relevant headlines had passed our filter without an article-level commercial check.

Both links are now withheld from shared news displays, search and affected archives. Other Stockhead articles require an individual disclosure review before inclusion. Withholding unreviewed items does not establish that they are commercial. Read the review policy.

September 10, 2026: promotional selection and news photography

Analyst stock-picking and investor-engagement announcements appeared among current mining headlines. We tightened the selection rules to distinguish recommendations, investor promotion and interview formats from factual developments. Headline screening has limits and does not independently verify an article or its commercial relationships.

Our initial photo review covered a fixed set of source images. As newer stories replaced those items, current pages became text-heavy again. The newsroom now includes a separately labelled, dated field photograph and sourced market graphics; a field photograph is not presented as the image of another story. New article images remain subject to visual review.

September 6, 2026: unrelated headlines

Unrelated airline, car-colour, lifestyle and general-business stories appeared in the mining news feed and could reach the homepage. The scheduled collector and page model checked dates and links without consistently requiring mining relevance. We have applied one relevance check to collection, live pages, news APIs and archived headline displays, and removed broad feeds and known promotional formats that contributed to the problem.

A feed category no longer determines an article’s commodity. Archived market figures and original publication times are retained; removed headline links are explained at the affected edition. Read the revised news-selection rules.

September 5, 2026: market data and archives

We removed an unverified fixed uranium value, corrected the iron-ore instrument label, stopped serving old company snapshots as current, and withdrew the affected market tables in the August 31 to September 4 Daily Pulse and September 2 to 4 Uranium Close editions.

Source dates, currencies and missing-data states are now explicit. Archived tables have not been filled with current values. The earlier Critical Minerals Standoff analysis is withheld pending sourcing and editorial review.

September 5, 2026: Neo Performance Materials ticker

MineralPulse incorrectly identified Neo Performance Materials as NEE.TO. The correct TSX symbol is NEO, represented here as NEO.TO, as confirmed in the company’s September 2, 2026 announcement.

This corrects our directory error; it is not a corporate ticker change. The old company URL redirects to the corrected record. Quotes attached to the incorrect symbol have not been transferred to NEO.TO.

September 5, 2026: exchange identity reconciliation

Comparison with TMX’s July 31 issuer report found differences in 50 earlier name-symbol associations. The initial review withheld quotes and automatic company-news associations for those entries. Twenty-three same-symbol cases are now resolved with issuer evidence: nine corporate renames, six directory name corrections and eight wrong-issuer labels. The other 27 cases have sourced listing or directory resolutions. 0 other-symbol cases remain under review. Directory address corrections are distinguished from corporate ticker changes and exchange moves. Review the listing and directory resolutions. Old addresses explain the change, saved companies follow the verified listing, and old-symbol numeric values are not reassigned. Read the resolution history and sources. Archived rows with unresolved or wrong-issuer identities remain withheld. Confirmed same-issuer name corrections retain original quote values and timestamps with a visible correction notice. Original stored editions are preserved. See the review status and source scope.

September 5, 2026: CSE directory review

A new comparison with the CSE’s security list and issuer index adds dated security references. All 14 earlier associations are reconciled: eight ticker changes, two same-symbol renames and four delisted companies, including three acquisitions. Old-symbol numeric rows remain withheld. Saved companies follow verified ticker changes; acquisition histories retain their own addresses. MAV.CN is a separately sourced successor outside the Mining-sector import. Separate share classes and warrants keep their own records. Source status conflicts are disclosed by issuer identity. Review the CSE scope, affected addresses and sources.
