MineralNational Instrument 43-101 governs scientific and technical disclosure about mineral projects. For a property material to an issuer, section 2.1 requires that disclosure be based on information prepared by or under the supervision of a qualified person, or approved by one. Technical-report filing obligations depend on specified triggers, materiality and exemptions; every drill update does not automatically require a new report.

Read the applicable sections, assumptions and limitations together. The form’s requirements vary with the property’s stage; an exploration report should not be assumed to contain a feasibility study. Form 43-101F1: technical report contents.
Current requirements and proposals
At this review, the BCSC lists the instrument effective June 9, 2023 and the 2011 report form under current documents. Its June 2025 replacement package and May 2026 amendment appear under proposed documents.
